I plan to fish on the north beach of the mouth of the Kenai river, which is apparently the best spot, and to get there is bit of an ordeal- you have to pay for parking ($22) but the parking area is not right at the fishing spot, so you have to drive down to the boardwalk to the beach, unload your stuff (giant cooler with ice inside, giant dipnet, waders, etc), drive pack to the parking area, park, and then walk back to your stuff
